We’ve all heard the story of Little Red Riding Hood. But how often has it been told from the Wolf’s point of view? This Big “Bad” Wolf is not as bad as he’s made out to be. In fact, this wolf is kind, sensitive and misunderstood. Or so he says. Red vs. the Wolf shows that there are always two sides to every story.
Red vs. the Wolf is family-friendly and great for children of all ages.
Show is approximately 35-40 minutes. No intermission.
The community performances of Red vs the Wolf are sponsored by the Town of Gananoque Festival of Lights. These performances are free of charge thanks to their generous support.
The Thousand Islands Playhouse Young Company program is a semester-long set of courses that takes students out of the classroom and into the theatre. Students work on-site in Gananoque with theatre professionals to learn production and performance skills.
Students use those skills to design, build, and present a Theatre for Young Audiences production for elementary students at the Thousand Islands Playhouse’s Firehall Theatre in Gananoque. Read more
The Young Company is supported by The United Way of Leeds & Grenville and The Davies Charitable Foundation.
