Located at street level, just up the slope from the Springer Theatre, the intimate 130-seat Firehall Theatre offers flexible staging opportunities and seating areas. The Firehall has operated as the company’s second stage since 2004.
The Firehall Theatre has a licensed concession in the lobby and now hosts the main daytime Box Office. Outside of regular daytime hours, the Firehall Box Office also opens two hours prior to Firehall Theatre performances.
The Firehall Theatre began life as the Gananoque Armouries in 1913, and subsequently became the Gananoque Fire and Police Station. The Firehall Theatre is now also used for many community events and concerts, and is the location of the company’s administrative offices and box office.
The Firehall Theatre has a level entrance, accessible washrooms and wheelchair seating available by reservation.
Sorry, we are unable to admit latecomers to performances in the Firehall Theatre.
