Daisy, a 72-year-old wealthy widow, is reluctant to accept help from anyone, especially the new chauffeur hired by her son. Over the course of 25 years, the two have plenty of time to explore each other’s quirks and perks as they share humorous adventures and develop a relationship that grows from one of necessity to one of companionship.
This Pulitzer Prize winning play tells a beloved and heart-warming story about overcoming prejudices, accepting change and the power of genuine friendship."Overwhelmingly touching."
- The Independent“A play with a big heart.”
- Sunday Express“A spine-tingling piece of theatre that pulled you in – an never let you go… a warm, funny engaging and compelling piece of theatre. This is a theatrical masterpiece.”
- The Courier Mail
