She Loves Me

She Loves Me

A Musical Romantic Comedy

June 20 – July 19, 2014
Springer Theatre

“She loves me, true, she doesn’t show it. How could she, when she doesn’t even know it!”

Book by Joe Masteroff
Music by Jerry Bock
Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick
Directed by Ashlie Corcoran

  • Set in a bustling 1930s parfumerie, coworkers Georg and Amalia are constantly bumping heads. Both escape the stresses of their lives by secretly writing passionate letters full of longing to anonymous pen pals- completely unaware they are actually writing to each other! When Georg discovers who his “Dear Friend” has been from the start, he finds himself re-evaluating their relationship; was it love in disguise all along?
Based on the same story as the hit films “You’ve Got Mail” and “Little Shop Around the Corner”, this witty and warm-hearted Tony Award-winning romantic comedy is full of show-stopping tunes- a perfect musical gem!

“Broadway’s most enchanting, bewitching and beguiling musical!”
    - New York Post

“So charming, so deft, so light, so right!”
    - The Daily News

    “Dear, charming and wholeheartedly romantic”
    - World-Telegram & Sun
