9 AM – 4 PM at the Herbert St. Production Facility (425 Herbert St. Gananoque ON)
Each of our PA Day Camps will give your camper a taste of theatre, both on-stage and behind the scenes. Campers will participate in singing and acting games, workshops with visiting artists, and special arts-and-crafts activities with a theatrical twist.
APRIL 8 CAMP DAY
Have fun stepping into the role of a brave space explorer, and creating your own eclipse-projecting telescope. The day starts with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Playhouse production facility where we build our amazing shows. Campers will design their very own telescope prop, and learn about using props onstage in a piece from a musical about “The Little Prince”, a tiny space explorer with big ideas. When the eclipse takes place, campers will be shown how to use their new telescope prop to safely project the eclipse, so they can watch it without ever looking at the sun. Join us for a great day of creativity, drama games, movement, and space adventure!
Children must be currently in Grades 3 – 6 to join this camp. Camp runs 9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily. Before and after care (8:00 – 9:00 am/4:00 – 5:00 pm) is available for an additional fee.
