7) Paddling on the River:
Two Full Day Kayak Rentals from 1000 Islands Kayaking, orientation and route maps included. Glide through the shallows among the 1000 islands. 9) Wine and Dine is back by popular demand!
Five course dinner for ten in the loft at the Waterfall Tea Room, overlooking the falls on the Napanee River in Yarker. Hosted by owners Barb Linds and chef, Eric DePoe. A selection of Ontario wines will be paired with a dinner prepared from locally raised beef from Elm Valley Farm. Sommelier Lori Davis will lead the wine tasting. As a product consultant for the LCBO for 23 years and an instructor at Algonquin College since 1997, she has spent time as a wine judge, Director of the Sommelier Guild, and a member of wine panels for Brock University, VQA Ontario and the Ontario Wine Council. She brings a wealth of knowledge and an enthusiasm which is contagious! Transportation can be arranged with Playhouse volunteers to get you there and back safely. Date to be set at a mutually agreeable time.

12) Hand Blown Glass Vase
Mariel Waddell is an award-winning glass artist. She was born in Trinidad and has lived in Barbados and Costa Rica which has influenced her art. Using hot glass bits she sculpts and captures the ocean currents and reefs in her pieces. Mariel is the co-owner of Kingston Glass Studio & Gallery. She has shown her sculptural glass designs in galleries across Canada, the US and the Caribbean. Her work is part of the permanent collection of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
