Jaida is excited to be a part of the first Canadian cast of Let’s Dance! Her past credits with SLC include Exhibition, Pouncival in Cats, and as an ensemble member in Pippin. Entering her second year of the program, Olivia is delighted to be working with such a special team. After idolizing upper years and fellow faculty as a freshman, collaborating with everyone is truly a treat. Her recent work includes SLC’s 2022 production of New Faces, and guest choreographing for Drayton Entertainment. She also spent her summer as a gig pianist for artists such as Maeley. Olivia describes her first workshopping experience as advantageous and edifying. #DC

Stefania is incredibly thankful for the opportunity to workshop and perform this incredible show! She has starred in three productions at SLC and is excited to continue her work with this amazing set of cast and crew. Notable productions include Cats (Grizabella), Theory of Relativity (Catherine), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), and Fiddler On the Roof (Hodel), as well as countless plays and variety shows! She would like to thank the creative team of this show for giving her this chance; this show has shaped her understanding of the craft ineffably. Felipe is a Brazilian actor, singer and dancer who’s super excited on playing Peter on this first ever production of Let’s Dance! Some of his previous works include Simon Trueheart in the also original Scantily Clad, Billy Flynn in Chicago, P.T. Barnum in The Greatest Showman, White Rabbit / Dodo Bird in Alice in Wonderland, Ensemble in Mean Girls, among others. He is beyond grateful for working with this amazing creative team and cast! Kimmy is so incredibly excited to be a part of this new show! She would like to thank the wonderful cast and crew for bringing this show to life and to all of her family for their endless love and support! Kimmy is in her third year in St. Lawrence College’s Musical Theatre Performance program. Celine is thrilled to dance her heart out as Caroline in SLC’s production of Let’s Dance! In other productions, Celine has had the honor of playing Sara in The Theory of Relativity, Sillabub in CATS!, and Margot in Legally Blonde. Haley is very excited to be a part of SLC’s production of Let’s Dance! Getting the opportunity to work with such amazing classmates on this production. Haley just wants to thank Chad, Aaron, and Heather for putting together a great show. Valerie is ecstatic for her friends and family to see her in her third placement production at St. Lawrence College, Let’s Dance! She is grateful for the incredible creative team and cast for all their endless love and support and would like to thank everyone involved in this workshop. She has a passion for performing and is excited to share her progress within her five semesters in the Musical Theatre Performance program. Joey is thrilled to be participating in this workshop of Let’s Dance. Joey is a second year student at St Lawrence College and has been having a blast singing, dancing and making art with his talented classmates. Jeremie Huot is proud to be a part of this original workshop. Recently seen as Pierre in Oh Canada Eh?! Dinner Musical with Totally Legit Productions and as Adam in SLC’s Theory of Relativity at Fire Hall Theatre. Sedona is delighted to perform for her second time at the Playhouse. She is especially thankful for the opportunity and process of workshopping and premiering this original Canadian Musical! She is from Timmins, Ontario. Some of her previous credits include, Olive in The Theory of Relativity (SLC), Jennyanydots in Cats (SLC), Rusty in Footloose (Lock and Keynote Productions, LKP), Dragon in Shrek the Musical (LKP), Horatio in Hamlet and Zombies (Take Two Theatre), and Kim MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie(LKP). She would like to thank Erin Puttee, Philip Pace, as well as the entire cast and crew of Let’s Dance for being such creative and collaborative company members. Mia is thrilled to be back performing and has had a fantastic time bringing to life this character and Let’s Dance! Their previous credits include performances in New Faces 2022 (St. Lawrence College), Miss Trunchbull in Matilda (Innovative Arts), Elsa in Frozen (Innovative Arts), Rapunzel in Into The Woods (MYTP), as well as credits on screen for a local Canadian singer’s music videos. Mia is beyond grateful for the many people in their life who have continuously shown support for their career including their family, friends, professors, and fellow classmates. We hope you enjoy!

Judy is thrilled to be a part of the Canadian premiere of Let’s Dance! Past theatre credits include Matilda in Matilda (Innovative Arts), and Storyteller in Once On This Island (Innovative Arts). Judy was also a part of SLC’s New Faces 2022 and has voice-over credits for a Barbie toys commercial (SOMA Prod.) She would like to thank her family for their endless support, her friends and castmates who make every rehearsal a great time, and the creative team for working exceptionally hard to put this show together. Powell is thrilled to be a part of the new workshop musical, Let’s Dance! He is grateful to be getting the chance to work with an amazing cast, crew, and creative team. Powell is in his third year at St. Lawrence College in the Music Theatre Performance program. His previous credits include Legally Blonde, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, Cats, The Theory of Relativity, Ride The Cyclone, and most recently, Pepper in Tweed And Company’s Mamma Mia! Gael is an international student from Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico studying in his second year at SLC. If you were to look for him in his natural habitat you would probably find him singing or tap dancing! Past credits include: Otto Lammermier in Spring Awakening, Lucas Beineke in The Addams Family, Beleaguered Geek in Heathers.

Kate is thrilled to be in her third year and doing another show with St. Lawrence College! From the west coast of Newfoundland, she has passion for the performing arts and is so happy to be in her very first workshop production. Some recent credits include Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Rapunzel in Disenchanted, ensemble in Nine To Five (STF), Fastrada in Pippin (St. Lawrence College) and Rumpleteazer in Cats (St. Lawrence College). Kate would like to thank her supportive parents, as well as her grandfather for instilling her love of storytelling.

Lauren is so excited to be a part of SLC’s production of Let’s Dance! Allie grew up in Kelowna, BC and is grateful to be a part of her 2nd production with St Lawrence College! Some of her past credits include: Dance Captain/Ensemble in The Spongebob Musical (New Vintage Theatre), Pharoah/Baker in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (3T), and Gavroche in Les Miserables (3T). Gracen is from Lloydminster SK/AB, and is thrilled to be performing her second show with St. Lawrence College. Former credits include Featured Soloist in New Faces 2022 (St. Lawrence College) and Dancer in Broadway Bound NYC 2019 Intrepid Performance (Be Discovered!). She wants to give a huge shoutout to her friends, family, and teachers for encouraging her to do her best and work her hardest, and a huge thank you to the incredibly talented creative team and cast for creating an incredible environment to work in. Heather Braaten* is an award-winning professional theatre director and playwright, Heather has specific interests and expertise in the fields of musical theatre, new play development, large ensemble physical theatre as well as devised theatre. She has been the Artistic Director for the Stephenville Theatre Festival since 2017. Heather has directed over 45 professional productions across North America, most recent direction credits include: 9 to 5 – The Musical, Disenchanted!, The Theory of Relativity, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Honky Tonk Laundry, American Idiot, The Last Five Years, Spring Awakening, We Will Rock You, Little Red Riding Hood, Urinetown, Cinderella a Ratical Retelling, For The Pleasure of Seeing Her Again, Evita, Next to Normal. Heather has extensive experience in the areas of artistic direction, company management, tour management and producing. She is Newfoundland and Labrador’s representative with the Professional Association of Canadian Theatre (PACT), as well as sitting on the Board of Directors as the chair of professional development for the Association of Professional Theatre Newfoundland and Labrador (APTNL). Heather is thrilled to be working with this incredible creative team and cast to bring this new musical to life.

Aaron is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with degrees in Composition and Theatre, and is the recipient of the NUMUS Award for Composition for The Poison Tree (New Art Quartet). Selected credits as Music Director include Trey Parker’s Cannibal! (STARVOX), Little Women (Theatre New Brunswick), 9 to 5 (STF), The Addams Family (SLC), Every Silver Lining (Next Stage), Dreamgirls (LOT), Evil Dead: The Musical (STARVOX), Grand Central: Divas on Broadway (SLC), Mary Poppins (LOT), In Flanders Fields (Smile Theatre), Forever Plaid (STARVOX), Let the Sunshine In (Welcome Wood), Central Park Tango (Theatre Sheridan/CMTP) and The Last Five Years (Angelwalk). As a proud member of Canadians Actors Equity and ACTRA, Chad is best known for creating and originating the role of Rooney Doodle on the Juno and Gemini nominated series, The Doodlebops. As a Doodlebop, Chad has recorded 3 albums with Universal music and toured across North America playing sold out shows at Madison Square Garden and LA’s Staple Centre. Chad is trained in all mediums of dance and is a highly sought out adjudicator for dance competitions and masterclass instructor. Chad is currently the Program Coordinator of the musical theatre program at St. Lawrence College where he teaches in all three disciplines (dance, vocal, and acting).
