Other: Born and raised in Kingston, Sean attended Queen’s University in the Bachelor’s of Music  program, specializing in percussion performance. Following his undergraduate studies, Sean attended  the Glenn Gould School in the Artist Diploma program, and the University of Ottawa for a Master’s of  Music degree. He has performed with a wide range of ensembles including the Toronto Symphony,  Kingston Symphony, Amadeus Choir, Ottawa Choral Society, and a variety of chamber and  contemporary ensembles. Sean also frequently performs on drum set with jazz combos, big bands, and  other popular music ensembles. In 2018, Sean moved to China to teach at a university in Nanchang,  Jiangxi. After returning to Canada, Sean began working at Queen’s University as a lecturer with the  Dan School of Music and Drama, where he is currently teaching.
