Driving Directions
The Thousand Islands Playhouse theatres are nestled on the banks of the St Lawrence River in Gananoque (GAN-an-OCK-way), Ontario. We’re situated perfectly – halfway between Toronto & Montreal, under two hours from Ottawa, and about 15 minutes from the 1000 Islands International Bridge. Gananoque is a charming community with many fine dining establishments, a busy boat line running cruises of the wonderful 1000 Islands area hourly, a bustling main street and a charity casino. A few pleasant day trips to historic Kingston with its gorgeous boutique and funky eatery-filled downtown, the artisan community of Merrickville, and of course all those islands, make a stay in Gananoque the perfect getaway.
