Beading Workshop with Liv Rondeau

Saturday, September 17

Gan Arts Network (167 King St. East)

The Indigenous Art of Beading

The location of the workshop has changed. It will run at the Gan Arts Network at 167 KING STREET EAST, GANANOQUE, ON

In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to make a beaded keychain. Participants will work with multiple beading materials such as size 10/0 seed beads, deer hide, leather needles, and more. They will learn how to incorporate various beading techniques to make a final piece of art that they can feel proud of.

This workshop not only focuses on revitalizing and sustaining beading techniques for future generations but also honours the wellness side of beadwork that allows everyone to create something with a good mind, peace, and care.

A portion of the proceeds will go to Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na.
