The annual Playhouse trip to the Stratford Festival departs from Brockville, Gananoque, and Kingston on Friday, October 12, 2018. Enjoy a delicious boxed lunch served by your escorts on board the coach bus as you relax on a comfortable, air conditioned trip to the city of Stratford, ON.
Our first stop will be the delightful hamlet of Shakespeare. Here you can visit any number
of wonderful quilt, antique, and specialty giftware shops.
From there it is just a short drive to Stratford. After checking in at The Arden Park Hotel, you will enjoy a fabulous dinner at Revival House before an evening performance of The Rocky Horror Show at the Avon Theatre.
Saturday morning begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by some leisure time. Take in the sites of Stratford, enjoy shopping on the main street, walk along the river, or catch a glimpse of one of the famous swans before having lunch at the eatery of your choice.
On Saturday afternoon, you will take in a matinee performance of To Kill a Mockingbird at the Festival Theatre and then return to the hotel for a lovely buffet dinner. After dinner, you will return to the Festival Theatre for a performance of The Music Man. Sunday begins with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a tour of the Stratford Perth Museum, which will feature the special exhibits Harper Lee: To Kill a Mockingbird and Stratford
Festival: Such Stuff as Dreams. After the tour you will depart for New Hamburg and enjoy a delightful lunch at The Puddicombe House. You will then board the bus for the journey home with a stop in Colborne at The Big Apple.
