THANK YOU FOR HELPING US KEEP THEATRE ALIVE IN THE 1000 ISLANDS
The tradition of ringing the school bell signifies the beginning of a performance here at the Playhouse. We never imagined that when we closed the curtains at the end of the 2019 season, we would not be ringing the bell again in 2020.
We are doing everything we can to make sure that, when it is safe to return to the Playhouse, we’re here to welcome you back and ring the bell once again.
In a step towards returning, we set out to raise $100,000 to overcome the financial stress from suspending our 2020 season.
WE DID IT: $244,000 AND COUNTING!
Thanks to almost 1000 generous donations, we raised over $244,000 in total donations for the Ring the Bell campaign! We are so grateful to those who have supported and generously donated, and to our campaign partners who matched every dollar up to $100,000. We have been overwhelmed by support and we are so inspired to see so much kindness from our audience, Patrons, sponsors, and the community. This generosity will go directly into helping us return, Dockside in the 1000 Islands when it is safe to do so.
JOIN THE CAMPAIGN
Continue to ensure a bright future for the Thousand Islands Playhouse and join hundreds of others in donating to our Ring the Bell campaign. Please consider donating the value of your 2020 season tickets back to the Playhouse. If you had not yet purchased tickets to our 2020 season, please consider making a one-time donation.
Although our curtains are closed, our staff have been busy working to make this summer count. With your support, the Playhouse can:
• Continue to keep 12 staff fully employed
• Create content for audiences throughout the season
• Pay artists who will be contributing to Playhouse events
• Implement long-needed upgrades to our facilities, including the Production facility, the Firehall Theatre, and the Springer Theatre
All donations will receive a tax deductible receipt for the date the donation is made.
