When Jean’s peaceful life is violated and her husband falls ill, she is forced to look into alternate living arrangements (namely, retirement homes). She soon learns that the simple things she took for granted as she aged—making supper, playing crib, dealing with absentee children—are more precious than she ever thought.

From the acclaimed writer of The Hope Slide and The Shape of a Girl comes this new one-woman show about the struggle to age with dignity.
